What to Bring on AFOQT Test Day: Complete Checklist

Wondering what you can and can’t bring to your AFOQT test day? Here’s your complete checklist.

Required Items

  • Valid military ID or government-issued photo ID
  • Test authorization letter from your unit or recruiter
  • Two #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils allowed)

Prohibited Items

  • Calculators of any kind
  • Cell phones and smart watches
  • Notes, books, or study materials
  • Food and drinks (water may be allowed)

Recommended Items

  • Analog wristwatch for time management
  • Light snack for breaks
  • Comfortable layers of clothing

Arrive at least 30 minutes early. The testing center will provide scratch paper and any other approved materials. Good luck on your exam!
